Vernon loves the classics. If you love the sights and sounds of your youth,
Thrash Wrestling has been building a loyal fanbase over the last decade by bringing world-class sports entertainment to the interior of BC. They’ve been building stories, faces, heels and kayfabes for 17 years now and fans know that when they come through town, they’re bringing all the grudge matches, upsets and feats of incredible physical prowess you could ask for!
On March 1, Thrash Wrestling will be bringing the ring to none other than The Green Pub! This high-octane event will feature the Armstrong Metal Fest champion Codiac Camaro Cope, who has issued an open challenge to all comers! Also, Kyle Sebastian will return with his partner Collin Cutler to form Okanagan’s most infamous and successful tag team Cougar Meat! If you love wrestling, you can’t afford to miss this awesome show.
Victoria BC’s PIGS are the best kind of tribute band – the kind that slavishly dedicates themselves to perfectly recreating the sounds of another era. In their quest to capture the sound of 70s era Pink Floyd, they have bought all vintage, all original equipment, and have toured the country several times honing their craft. By now watching a PIGS concert is a more authentic Pink Floyd experience than seeing either Roger Waters or David Gilmour, and that’s really saying something!
Don’t miss PIGS as they play the entirety of Dark Side of The Moon at the Vernon & District Performing Arts Centre on March 7.
